Another example of an offer executed by a painter active in a port call on the back home travel, in order to arrive in Camogli with the ex-voto ready to offer to the Madonna of the Boschetto. The Madonna appears nearly only designed and with traces of a single color in the blue mantle: perhaps in the intentions of the author (following the customer's instructions) was the covering, arrived to the ultimate destination, with a specific image of the Madonna of the Boschetto which the ex-voto was destined. |
