Between the paintings of the Sanctuary of Boschetto, this is probably the most damaged because of a locally restoration executed in the seventies, with heaviest coats of stucco and layer of paints that would have had to cover the damages of the time, but having strongly and in great part irreversibly devastated the original. Of what still is readable many reasons induces to think that it could be a matter of a juvenile work of Angelo Arpe like the previous one. |
